A cursory review of any respectable text covering the early American Revolution will discuss Sam Adams, John Adams' second cousin who led the Massechusetts division of the Sons of Liberty, an patriotic organization that had its nacient life invigorated by the Stamp Act and other forms of "taxation without represenation" as prosecuted by King George III.  Sam and his cohorts, dressed like Indians, carried out the Boston Tea Party as well as numerous other means of frustrating Britain's efforts to fill it's financially-depressed coffers post French & Indian War. 

The Sons of Liberty provide us with historical example of the kind of organization we need today to help remind us all of our Nation's greatness and to preserve the memory of the massive effort undertaken by the Founders to create our wonderful Country.  Our Country is bereft with divisions these days. To be sure, divisions nearly down the middle regarding things conservative and liberal.  The problems that we now face, however, are amplified and biased against the conservative side by the existance of Islamofascism, as well as the misplaced efforts of those liberal hearts that would see such evil legally protected: yes, I mean CAIR and the ACLU, to start with.  The effort expended by the left is so massive, and is relatively unopposed .  A "revived" Sons of Liberty grassroots organization  is "just the ticket" needed to give our side a boost. The purpose of such an organization would be "patient education."  Patient?  Who is sick, you might ask?  A fair number of right-minded folks have difficultly putting their feelings and words together to represent a cogent front.  Even those who are eloquent and erudite are heard by few due to a lack of funding and due also to the massive countereffort provided by the drive-by media that gives the liberal "half" a free ride propagandawise.  Indeed, members of our own families misinterpret our love of country for an unhealthy obsession with politics, too much time at the radio, or an unhealthy bias toward the uncompassionate.  For many of us, this  latter factor is a substantial one, and would be readily quieted if a real, charted group of patriots could develop an online presence, possible followed by a PAC-like formulation with time.  We must all remember that America exprienced Islamofascist barbarity which dates back to the Muslim Barbary pirates off the Moroccan coast that frustrated our people and much worse, turning them into slaves and submitting them to torture and death, especially if they did not submit to a state of dhimmitude.  John Adams and Thomas Jefferson agreed on little, but they were "as one" when it came to dealing with these barbarians.  We must not forget that our fledgling Marines were sent to Tripoli to deliver justice to these animals on more than one occasion. We must stem the tide of leftward-leaning public opinion by education, and that education could be best provided by an uptodate Sons of Liberty.  Remember that our Founders appealed to heaven for Divine providence to drive our rag-tag, outnumbered, underpracticed and undisciplined Revolutionary Militias to success.  We too must appeal to heaven with prayer that the table of odds can be turned in our favor against a massive, global, anti-American, Islamofascist assault.
